“Go all out with some homemade chips! I love a sweet potato chip but classic spuds with some rosemary are also fabulous.”
Ingredients
500g pork mince
40g gluten-free breadcrumbs
1 tsp dried sage
1 dessert apple, peeled and grated
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Place all the ingredients, into a bowl with a good pinch of salt and black pepper.
Start stirring with a spoon then finish with your hands to ensure everything is well mixed together.
Divide the mixture into five and form into burger patties.
Place the burgers under the grill on a medium heat for about 10 minutes until nicely browned. Turn over to the other side and repeat.
Serve the burgers in a gluten-free bun with lettuce, sliced tomato and sauce of your choice – mustard, ketchup and mayo are all good.
