Pancakes

Make any day pancake day with my quick and easy recipe that just needs your favourite toppings

I love my pancakes with my favourite chocolate spread Nutella. Choose your favourite topping for your pancake style.

Ingredients

  • 110g gluten-free plain flour

  • 1 egg

  • 300ml milk

  • 1 tsp sunflower/vegetable oil per pancake

Method

  1. In a jug, whisk the milk and egg together. Then, in a large bowl, add the gluten-free flour and make a hole in the middle. Slowly pour the milk and egg mixture into the hole whilst whisking together. Do this until you have a smooth batter.

  2. Add the oil to the frying pan, which should be on a medium to high heat. When the oil is hot, add the pancake mixture to the pan. I use a ladle to do this.

  3. After 1-2 minutes or until the one side is nicely browned, flip the pancake and finish off the other side.

  4. You could serve the pancake with lemon juice and sugar, ice-cream, Nutella, banana or anything else you can think of. Enjoy!
